This privacy policy explains how Kograi handles information in Jawan Fitness. Other Kograi apps may follow a different policy. Apps that only use limited diagnostics are described on theshared Kograi privacy page.
Introduction
Jawan Fitness is a signed-in meal and calorie tracker. To run the app we store an account, meal photos or descriptions, nutrition estimates, and optional profile details. Using the app means you also agree to the Jawan Fitness terms of service.
Information you provide
Depending on how you use the app, you may provide:
- Sign-in identity from Apple or Google, including a name or email. Apple Hide My Email addresses are included when you choose that option.
- A display name and optional profile photo.
- Date of birth, used to confirm you are 16 or older and to decide whether an adult calorie guide is available.
- Calculation basis, height, weight, goal, and optional target weight or weekly pace.
- Meal photos and short text descriptions of meals.
- Corrections to estimated foods, portions, and nutrition values.
- A Circle handle and optional Circle or meal-reminder preferences.
Information created by the service
When you use Jawan Fitness, we also create and store:
- Nutrition estimates and meal titles generated from your photo or description.
- Adult calorie-guide calculations, when you choose to set a guide.
- The timezone of your most recently active signed-in device, used for reminders and Circle day boundaries.
- Current-day Circle summaries, reactions, blocks, and reports.
- Usage records needed to enforce analysis and Circle limits.
Jawan Fitness does not currently collect advertising identifiers, product-analytics events, or crash-reporting profiles beyond what Apple or Google may process as part of the operating system or sign-in.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Analyse meals and show Today, History, and review screens.
- Calculate an optional adult calorie guide.
- Operate Circle for connections you accept.
- Send meal reminders or privacy-safe Circle alerts if you opt in.
- Enforce usage limits and investigate abuse or safety reports.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Circle sharing
If you use Circle and accept a connection, that person can see a current-day summary: meal cards, photos you logged today, calories and macros, and optional calorie-guide progress. The summary expires at your next local midnight.
Weight, goal type, target weight, previous days, portions, assumptions, and review hints stay private. Circle alerts, when enabled, use generic lock-screen copy and do not include names, nutrition values, or emoji.
Your Circle handle and display name are searchable by other signed-in users so they can send a request. You can pause sharing, remove a connection, or block someone at any time.
Retention
We keep your account, meals, photos, and related records while the account exists so History and Circle can work. When you delete your account, we delete meals, photos, profile data, Circle data, notification records, and the sign-in account.
Short-lived backups or abuse reports may remain for a limited time when we need them to operate the service or respond to a safety issue. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
- Edit your profile, meals, and calorie guide in the app.
- Pause or remove Circle connections, or block another person.
- Turn meal reminders and Circle alerts off.
- Sign out from Profile.
- Delete your account from Profile. That is the primary way to remove your Jawan Fitness data.

Children
Jawan Fitness is not directed at children under 16. The app asks for a date of birth so we can apply that rule and withhold adult calorie guides from 16–17-year-olds. If you believe someone under 16 has created an account, email us so we can review and delete it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. The revised page will show a new “Last updated” date. Materially different data practices will be described before they begin.
